The security model combines encrypted systems, hot and cold wallet separation, backups, two-factor authentication and withdrawal verification. Independent audits, reserve evidence, insurance and custody attestations must always be evaluated separately.
Your control plane
Secure the registered email first, use a unique password, enable 2FA, protect recovery methods and review every withdrawal destination. Never share passwords, private keys or current one-time codes.
Counterparty risk
Correct credentials cannot bypass provider downtime, withdrawal suspension, KYC review, legal restrictions, liquidity constraints or insolvency. Keep exposure proportionate and maintain an exit plan.
